Imagine, too, that the ship is staffed with an all-volunteer crew of professionals from all over the world working together to serve those who have no hope of any kind of medical care and who are shunned in their community because of their illness and deformities. Mercy Ships is the world’s largest charitable hospital ship program dedicated to bringing world-class health care to the world’s forgotten poor.
