Members of CBNB, employees of UBS Financial and students and faculty from Maryvale Prep teamed up on May 15th to prepare meals for the Stop Hunger Now program and collect food for Baltimore's Helping Up Mission.
In
a little over 2-hours, 10,000 meals consisting of rice, soy protein, dehydrated vegetables and vitamins were prepared and packaged for shipment to Stop Hunger Now's worldwide efforts to end hunger. CBNB members Mark Fitz-Patrick, Linda Tice, Diane Beliveau, and Greg Pierce were joined by representatives from the local and regional offices of UBS, the event's sponsor, and over 30 students and faculty from Maryvale.
Stop Hunger Now is an international hunger relief agency that has been fulfilling its commitment to end hunger for more than 15 years. Since 1998, the organization has coordinated the distribution of food and other lifesaving aid to children and families in countries all over the world.
